North Korean troops have suffered losses in combat in the Kursk region of Russia. The UK Ministry of Defence reports over six thousand casualties among North Korean military.

«The total number of casualties is over half of approximately 11 thousand North Korean servicemen. The losses are likely related to intense combat and strenuous infantry attacks,» the report states.

Active actions of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicated that Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region are conducting active operations that have forced the occupiers to postpone their offensive on Sumy.

It is worth noting that in the Sumy region, Russian troops are trying to capture Yunakivka as part of their offensive on Sumy. Russian forces outnumber Ukrainian forces two to one, but Ukrainian troops are ready for any developments.
