Drone Hit House in Odesa - Photos of the Aftermath of the Attack in the Morning.

On the night of July 19, Russian drones attacked Odesa. One of them hit a high-rise building, causing a massive fire. The flames engulfed the upper floors of the building, resulting in one death and several injuries. The police and rescuers worked throughout the night.
Journalists from Novyny.LIVE visited the scene of the tragedy and spoke with the residents of the destroyed building.
As a result of yet another Russian shelling, civilian infrastructure in Odesa was damaged, including a multi-story residential building, private properties, stores, and transport. Following the drone strike on the nine-story building, a fire broke out, which was extinguished by dozens of rescuers along with volunteers.
'The fire spread from the 6th to the 9th floors. Rescuers, along with volunteers, managed to extinguish the fire, saving 5 people from burning apartments. Unfortunately, one of the rescued women died', said the spokesperson of the State Emergency Service of Odesa Oblast, Marina Avershina.
Residents who experienced the shelling recount how they spent the night amid the sounds of explosions. Lyubov, a resident of the seventh floor, recalls the events with horror.
'It was very scary. We were sitting on the 7th floor, then moved to the 3rd, and later descended to the first floor and waited there until the all-clear was given. Only the ceiling was damaged in our apartment', said the woman.
Another resident of the building, Viktor, said he did not believe that a drone could hit his house before. During the alarm, they were sitting in a storage room.
'We were sitting in the storage room between two walls when the drone hit. We did not go down to the shelter. It had never come here before. Now everything has changed', Viktor added.
Currently, the police are documenting the consequences of the attack and assisting the people. Law enforcement officials are recording the damages, interviewing witnesses, and ensuring order at the scene.
According to the city council, temporary shelter is being provided to residents of damaged buildings in a kindergarten located near the site of the attack's aftermath.
It should be noted that the mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, informed last night that over 20 drones were flying towards the city from different directions. We also reported that the occupiers carried out the most massive attack on Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in significant destruction and fires.
The situation in Odesa remains tense after the Russian drone shelling, which led to a fire in a residential building and civilian casualties. Local residents are relying on the assistance of law enforcement and rescuers, while the authorities are providing temporary shelter for the affected. Work is currently underway to establish the causes and circumstances of this tragedy.Read also
